Bronco tank -- 87-92 same as 92-96?

The hole size changed at 85, so anything newer than that will work as far as the hole size. Resistors on the 85-89ish are different than the newer ones, I know the 86 resistor is different than the 92 from doing the Cummins swap, I had to reuse the 86 sump, but the 92 float/resistor.

The bronc tank is deeper, only the hole is the same, and the outside dims as far as matching the frame. You would need the sump to match the tank, and then have the pump pressure be right for your truck.

Hm... Are there any sources that have this information posted? I'd like to confirm before I drop the money on the tank and find out it won't work.

also something to keep in mind on cost - i haven't been able to sell my old tank. i figured i could sell it on craigslist, but i've had 0 interest. ...don't count on offsetting the price of the new one with selling the old one.

Like mine? I patched it up to keep going, but i am sure to revisit it again someday... I did snag a brand new one from a junk one at the local junk yard.

Didn't count on it :D Why would anyone want it? :p
I can still get a after market rear tank for less than $100 So to drop and old one and put another old one in the $100 is worth it to me. Those conections suck. But u might get lucky.

As for listings . All my info was an aftermarket part catolog. Any JC whitney or other on line parts house should have info posted.
