4" inch from turbo not easy on obs, and for the difference with no tuner It wouldn be worth the hassle. Just 6637, nice exhaust and enjoy it.

That's why I mentioned the non smashed aftermarket dp. it helps greatly on a stock OBS PSD. Powder rods tend to limit your power numbers anyway.

I knew it would be a detail first.....but I'd do the Amsoil fluids, then wheels and tires.

No powder rods on obs, they didn't come til 2001 super duties!!

Obs has the weaker rotating assembly IIRC.

I thought the opposite? Forged rods. But no inter cooler and different turbo

Negative, the Super Duty 7.3 had stronger internals... Too much boost into an OBS PSD and things go wrong...

I always thought the last obs 7.3s were the strongest... 1996/7 and then the super duty was slightly less strong, but still stronger than the 1994/5 7.3s

Okay, so did some digging. I was told that the SD 7.3 was forged and the OBS was powder; BUT, searching says UP TO 2000.5 was forged.....
