My van died on me the other day,smoke came out dash.Everything works except fuel and igntion.There are no burnt wires any where fuses are good, engine turns over but won't start.Whats next?EEC?

Look at the start solinoid, there are several wires hooked up that are fusable links. Easiest way to test them is give them a tug, if they streach they are burned out.Replace thim with fusable link wire, or resister wire. Inline fuse holders won't work.

You will need to do some testing, to find out what made them blow out, there is a dead short somewhere
