Yep, if you look around, you can find some pretty sweet deals. Take my 2000 Mountaineer for example. It has a 302 and every single option, it now has 31x10.5s, will soon have a manual transfercase, and I have 1200 into it right now... That is including the purchase price of the vehicle.

That's why I said you have to know where to look. I gave examples from my area. Tyler needs to learn about his areas demographics so he can find the best deal.

Sheesh, it's like talking to a bunch of kids or something!

Ever occur to you that you are? smilietease

Looks like a cool find Tyler!

Yeah, I'm pretty happy about it... Just hope it works out.

I'ma try to convince the guy to pay for a fuel pump, and see if thats the problem. smilietease

Cool Bronco Tyler.

I'm waiting for the day the guy who bought my Ranger decides to sell it.....

Go ask him, he might? That's what we did here... just asked the dude and he was like yep, I'll take $600 for it. [confused]

Jeez..I have a working pump here that I'm gonna toss out...I'd give it to you but the shipping would probably be too much.

I appreciate it, but like you said shipping would probably kill the deal.

I can get a new one for around $25.

We went back up there today, poured about 2 gallons of gas in it, and it wouldnt do anything.... fuel filter is good, and no gas getting to the carb.

Only thing left... fuel pump, IMO. but the guy who's selling it doesn't really wanna spend any money on it, and we don't either since we aren't sure how bad the trans is leaking... I don't wanna spend $50 and my time putting the fuel pump on, just to see if it's worth buying... [confused]

So, we are still considering it, but as of right now... alot less than before.

I'll update later with our final decision I guess...

A bit old school...but what about a container hooked up to the fuel line just before the carb?....just hold it a bit higher than the carb.

Didn't even think of that, and deffinitly gonna have to try it.... could probably zip tie it to the top of the door? hold it out the window?, run it down to the carb and still be able to drive it around a little bit. smiliepopcorn

Cause I deffinitly wanna drive it some... haha

Thank's for the tip!

In Pa explorers r cheap . As they r rust from lower trim down ...

I have his number.

I'll eventually ask him.I'm pretty sure he's gonna try to get over 1500 out of it though. The thing has 189,000 miles on the original transmission,it kissed a tree HARD,and I only paid 800 bucks for it originally,so I wouldn't pay any more than that.Besides,I know he has less than 800 bucks in the parts to fix it up.We'll see.

Bets of luck with the Bronco man.

Even still you can do that just put the can on the fender and run the line from the can to the pump that way ya dont suck a bunch of old nasty gas into the carb and new pump.
