On a separate note, when I pulled this wheel off the Taurus, I noticed that the body mounts were sheared in the front. :-/

I think I do too. The black seems like you are trying too hard to be cool, don't even get me started on the shiny 18s...

Being the oblivious hillbilly I am, I'd run one set until the tires were worn out, then the other set until those tires were worn out...

But given a choice between the two, I'd go for the ones in back. I don't mind black wheels, sometimes- but not on a black car, and not those.

*I have a friend who had an early '00s BMW 3-series, when we were working together. After two sets of wrecked "fancy" wheels, he put it on black steelies, no covers. Only things that would stand up to the dirt-road pounding he gave that car.

The tires on the Taurus wheels are too big, and mismatched. I am going to run the black wheels for a bit, they are wearing on the inside until I fix my bushings, anyway. I think i will then get a nice, matching set of properly sized tires on the Taurus wheels.

I like the new wheels, they kind of give it a look of understated elegance . . . not so much on a Taurus, but they go with the lines of the Jag much better.
