1997 LD F250 Hubcaps?

Hi, i have a 1997 LD F250 its the one that has the 98 body style and im having trouble finding parts for it. Im trying to find replacement wheels or the hubcaps because they are rusted in some spots. I've been looking everywhere for them and have had no luck. I couldnt even put a Leveling kit for the Front end. So, i had to raise the torsion bars to raise it. If anyone knows where to get them i would really appreciate it. Thanks.

Yes he has the newer body style 7 lug

You will find nothing ... Maybe center caps . It was a one year joke of idea from Ford. They were nice truck But to make something for just one year .

Other than dealer having some New ones hide on topp shelf. Or a seller that removed them for custom rims.

We rebuilt a wrecked one 4 years ago and got New alum rims for price of 4 stock steel rims and centers. You may look awhile But Good luck.

F75Z1130BC .. Hubcap-Use w/Chrome Styled Steel Wheels / AVAILABLE from Ford.

MSRP each: $74.73 // PARTSGUYED.COM price each: $53.81.

PartsGuyEd is Ed Olson, parts manager of Horizon Ford in Seattle WA and gives parts discounts to everyone.

Ed also has an EZ to use online parts catalog that covers every FoMoCo vehicle from the 1980's thru today.

Before giving up looking for an obsolete parts...or what the dealer may claim is obsolete, or for available parts...either ask here on FTF or contact Ed for assistance.

Over the past 45 months, I found 1000's of (mostly) obsolete parts for members of FTF and t'other site...where my user name is NumberDummy.

btw: There's a business that specializes in "take-off" wheels, has 100's of different types. Take-offs are wheels that dealers remove from new vehicles, then replace them with aftermarket wheels.

I'll have to look aroiund for the link.

Thanks, ill look that up. and i dont understand why ford would make a truck just for fun. I mean, they know that somebody is goin to end up with those trucks. It just makes it harder for me to find parts for it. I went to an truck accessories store and the guy said that my truck was the evil step child of ford, cuz you can never find anything for them.

Two words,Frame Swap.Or,if more stuff is compatible, axle swap.

I've always read that the LD F250 was a test dummy, and when it wasn't accepted,Ford redesigned the F250 and up.I've also heard that it was just an excuse to give Ford more time to design the new F250 and up,since the new F150 didn't get a warm welcome.

The F-250 LD was made in 1997-1998 and in the form up until at least 2003 if not as a 2004 Heritage as the F-150 7700.

How come alot of people dont have this truck? I mean, its a great truck. The only thing i wish they would have done is put a 6.0L or a 7.0L engine instead of a 5.4L. Or just made it a diesel with that curve body style.

I will only touch a 97-03 if it's a single cab longbed 4x4,or a Supercab shortbed 4x4 like yours Derrick.

I can't stand the SuperCrew.The last year I liked a Crew Cab F150 was the 96 F150.
