1964 Falcon 56k warning

We're thinking different ways to handle that. Maybe even going as far as a tube front end similar to what dearborn steel built for the thunderbolt fairlanes.

Thinking about doing a Thunderbolt type car?

Nice car, Tony. I just picked up a '62 Fairlane 500, same color as yours. Mine's been painted over with house paint (some type of blue). Behind the door panels is the original color. Code: 4 Is that what yer's says?

Mine says Paint Code- B.

Looking that up, I come up with Pagoda Green, which looks about right.

Back in the mid 60's, my Dad drag raced a 62 fairlane. It had a 65 hi po 289/ 4 speed. At the time, the only fiberglass front end parts available were for 64 fairlanes, so he put the 64 front end on.

Are you sure it's a 4? I thought they used letters. Could it possibly be an H?
If so, that is Oxford Blue Poly.

maybe I shoulda turned my piece of paper upside right. The axle is 4, the color is E Sorry about that.

Nice project.The parts manager where I used to work,had a 65 with a 289.He painted it a maroon color.
