The circle as stated above is a magnet to collect metal shavings in the fluid. the other thing looks like it may have been a or part of a special tool or something to assembly of the trans. its looks familiar but i cant really figure it out. did it have anything stamped on it?
any reason why you like them so much? you can also pick up a "light duty" f-250. its the same thinghow about this oneor this oneanother onez!!!!!1 oh noez!!!!!from what i have seen the light duty 250s came in more options all the 7700 gvw trucks were all stripped bare bones work trucks...
the small block ford engines tend to like to like h-pipes better than true duals. Also true duals will give you a VERY raspy sound. the H-pipe will give it a more even, smoother sound. i know someone who decided it would be a good idea to put true duals on qa 93 t-bird with a 5.0, and the car...
it all depends on how well it was taken care of. My suggestion is find a yard that has some descent newer wrecked f-150s/v8 explorers/mustangs that they don't keep out in the u-pull it yard. i have a friend of mine who found a yard with a wrecked v8 explorer with 50k on the 4.6 and he dropped it...
another good way to reduce the amount on there is to beat the **** out of it when you drive it.My neighbor has an 07 6.0 that he uses and basically hired me to do his maintanence (its ok because he takes me fishing on his boat on occasion) and every time i change his oil i pull his egr valve...
sounds like maybe some burnt valvles ot detonated and popped some pistons.... eitherway that motor sounds like it is toast.... after re-building a few mod motors i agree with everone else, not worth it, especially since you can get new once at a pretty good price even through ford.try to find...
you won't catch me back at that place for a long while! those trails are rough, if you go on the site there are pictures of people flipping thier jeeps on the same trails i was on! my truck is alittle too big for some of that stuff. its good fun though if yo have a smaller more agile truck! here...
no they do not. most ford dealers do not have a road force machine, we saw a video of it but that was the extent. the dealer i worked at did not have a roadforce machine, anything that required it we had to sent to the tire shop down the street
cool, thanks. i had just never heard of anyone doing that. when you are going to Ford school and working at a dealer those are some of the things they don't teach you. i stick to doing a dynamic balance inside and out and use stickie weights. the factory offset wheels make it easy to balance...
you guys are talking about BBs in the tire, could you be more specific with that? I've never heard of anyone doing this, what do you do with them/how does it work? thanks
