Shaun...the round thing is the magnet put in the pan from the factory to collect any debris and prevent catastrophic failure...Nice diagram BTW.... and Tex yea where are the pics of the tires and how does it ride/handle/etc with the new shoes????

The circle as stated above is a magnet to collect metal shavings in the fluid. the other thing looks like it may have been a or part of a special tool or something to assembly of the trans. its looks familiar but i cant really figure it out. did it have anything stamped on it?
