I finally got a chance to take a look at it. The rear shoes I put on last summer were cracked and falling apart. :headbang: No wonder they were grabbing so badly.I replaced them and its all fixed. Thanks guys! smiliegitrdone

The rears are drum brakes.

I'll have to dig up my reciepts.....My wife said this happened all at once, not gradually....and now the ABS light is coming on.

My wife called me at work yesterday saying the brakes are grinding. I just did the brakes last year. I test drove it and going slowly if you just touch the pedal, the rear wheels lock. Not sure if the fronts are. Its almost like the ABS isn't working. It only does it going forward, in reverse...

Mine chimes with the keys out of the ignition unless I jiggle it, then it stops. My key cylinder is cracked where you turn it so I'm pretty sure that my problem. It doesn't turn enough to start it without the key. I have to replace that someday.
