Got the transfer case housing back and started to grind down the casting lines etc. Had a drain plug installed in the transmission pan to make life easier down the road.

Another day of blasting, grinding etc. Gas tank straps gave me some thinking to do...to get the "t" bolts out a person would have to drill out the spot welds...no big deal but reassembly would be impossible (welding) after powdercoat and bolts/rivets will not work for both clearance and looks...going to go with dry film instead...same as the nuts and bolts.
 
Did your wife give you that sun visor cricket for your sunglasses I sent home with her?

Got a couple of very cool books that have vacuum and wiring diagrams in large format as well a gas cap, mirrors (again :D) and some other small stuff.
Back to the grind(ing) tomorrow.
