    During that era, GM had a common issue with the upper plenum (plastic intake portion) cracking and leaking coolant into the engine. They are under $100 at the dealership.Make sure to have yours checked!

  6. 4.0L SOHC starting issues

    whenever I would kill my 4.0 SOHC, I would have to hold it halfway down for fuel kill, full throttle for any other type of kill.Yeah, my 4.0 EARNED its keep. that engine is tougher than nails though!

  10. TK4,5 interchangability

    I have a question for you all: I am wanting to take a 4WD TK4 from a 85 BII and use a 2WD TK5 from a 87 Ranger. The goal is to make a 4wd, V-6 TK5. I am wanting to use the 2wd trans, with the 4WD bell housing and tailhousing. Is this possible?
