    procharger p600

You mean a P600B? How many miles are on it? A rough price on what you're looking for would be a help..

    Getting A New Truck!

The C6 will hurt the mpg's, 15-16 would be my guess, but there's only one way to find out.
  7. 70torino429

    Hell Yeah! 139 Hp Lol

248.. at a hair above 1900 RPM  Pretty flat tq. curve from 1500-2500 though.

    For you 4.9 guys

I like it. I think he did a good job except for cutting a hole in the frame for the air filter, if he put a little more thought into the way the turbo was mounted I think he could've easily avoided that. Me personally, I'd have run the air filter up through the bottom of the bed and maybe have...

    Hell Yeah! 139 Hp Lol

So this somewhat local place was having a 29.99 dyno pull "special" and I was bored, had a few bucks to spare so why not?My '94 made 139 to the wheels! what a beast! LOLI honestly was expecting more like 120ish though, so I was a little impressed.

What is there for header options?

Sweet, a little pricey, but they look like good stuff.
  11. 70torino429

What is there for header options?

Looking for something that'll fit my '94 4.9L and summit shows nothing for that year, but ones that work on 89- 300 4.9L trucks :suspicious:
  12. 70torino429

Only put 22000 miles on in last year

    Wow you drive alot lol.Touche'

    Brake Job 88 Bronk

Yeah i got lazy lolTouche' on not painting the rotors, I think the OP realizes that now.

    Brake Job 88 Bronk

Well, the brake dust shield will rot out like a mofo, and the caliper becomes a ***** to remove when it rusts enough. Paint looks prettier than rust IMO, too.

They put M5OD's in 3/4 ton trucks also.

    Brake Job 88 Bronk

Yeah.. uh.. painting the brake rotor's contact surface isn't going to help you in any way :hammer:
  17. 70torino429

    Electric Blower

Huh. That's neat.Wonder if it'd be worth adding to my 1994 I6 that doesn't have one?

    A New Member

Truck looks pretty clean in the engine bay and interior, BTW is that a Cordoba I see next to it ?!

    flareside fiber glass

X2.. If he's including the cost to repaint it, I'd say 300 isn't too bad of a price.

Took the brush guard off for a couple pics, I think I'm going to leave it off. Just need to find a good pair of fenders so I can get on the body/paint work.

4.10's gonna kill me with this setup?

Thanks guys, ended up passing on that axle anyways since the guy cut the shock mounts off of it.I think I might just rebuild 8.8 and buy a 3.55 gearset with a locker for a little more oomph. It's plenty peppy around town with 3.08's, but with a 3-4k lb. trailer and/or a lot of weight in the...

4.10's gonna kill me with this setup?

MPG-wise?Thinking of buying a Sterling 10.25 rear-end for my newly-acquired '94 but since I drive the truck a lot on the highway, I don't want to throw my fuel mileage out the window completely, 1 or 2 mpg drop wouldn't concern me though. The 10.25 I'm considering has 4.10's in it though...

    Cleanup that rusty battery tray

Yeah I'll probably go with black if I decide to do the one on my '91 also (this thread is the one on the '94) but it should match better when I cleanup/refurbish more parts, brackets, etc. in the engine bay. I'm trying to do a budget-limited resto to the truck piece by piece.
  24. 70torino429

    Cleanup that rusty battery tray

Mostly a couple different styles of wire-wheels. For a few of the rust pieces that were about to come off when I took it off I just used sort of a thick-bladed gasket scraper.
  25. 70torino429

    Cleanup that rusty battery tray

Well.. this might be a weird sight for some of you southern guys, but all the trucks I've had up here have accumulated some nasty looking rust on the battery box. So Instead of buying a new one or trying to dig around the junkyard for one mint truck, I figured I'd put some love and care into the...

    Cylinder head bolts

You're not using something wimpy like a 3/8 ratchet are you..?I always use my 1/2" drive breaker bar for cylinder head bolts, broken a couple 1/2" drive ratchets.

Post a pic of your 87-96 and 97 F250's and up

Lol yeah, it's not in great shape but worth the $500 anyways, has 150k miles.

Post a pic of your 87-96 and 97 F250's and up

Just what I needed, another truck lol..4.9L, 5 speed, 3.08's, nothing special but it was in good enough shape to drive home, for $500 I couldn't go home without it.
