There shouldn't be much fluid between case and trans, it's sealed on both units. If you are removing the trans. from under the truck, it may be easier to unbolt t-case. If just pulling back to replace torque converter or flex plate, brace it secure to jack and leave it bolted up, Randy.

You had better ck. for valve spring collapse and retainer to guide clearance if you have stock heads. Randy.

Be careful, what cam? the stock heads and valve springs won't take much lift, and I have found out long ago the tech lines for summit,jegs etc. don't know big block Fords. Go for the Dove heads, you definitely need more compression to make power. Randy.

I use mine to hall mulch for the house, occasional trip to landfill, just fun drives etc. This week I plan to load up some parts and go to a flea market in Harpers Ferry W.V. Then I'll come home and put on drag radials and go to Mason Dixon Dragway and race. Best E.T. to date 11.14 at 118 m.p.h...

Middletowne?Just curious, did that truck come from Middletowne Md.? Some fire companies had aluminum utility beds, if yours is aluminum you should be able to sell it. You might want to measure wheelbase first to be sure a pickup bed will work. Randy.

the cam doesn't line up, this is normal. Is this a new cam? Comp,maybe? I and a friend and many others have had the same problem. The cam manufacturer is going to blame it on brake in procedure. The motor does need to come apart and be thoroughly cleaned etc. Are you going to do the work...

sounds to me like a bad plug wire, possible split boot or shorting out on something. Raise the hood at night and rev the engine off idle a few times and watch for spark jumping.Also check cap and rotor. Had a tune up lately? Randy.

75/80 reopened this year, but under new management with a completely different agenda, heads up racing. They added bracket racing in the summer. I hope they reopen next year and will take some of Bill Wilcoms advice,we'll see. They are now closed for the season. Randy.
