May be getting a clean 79 F150

Well I am working on getting a 79 F150. It belongs to my mother-in-law. She inhareted it from her great aunt. My wife said that she thinks i am about to get it. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Here are the details of the truck. Pics to come this weekend.

1979 F150, 302, auto, air, lwb, 54,276 miles. Yes 54,276 miles. The truck is super clean. It is baby blue and white. It needs wash and wax and the paint will be good. The interrior is perfect. The owners manual is laying on the seat.

I have been after this truck for 7 years. I have worked on it so I know the truck. It is all original. the truck has a fresh tune up and new carb.

it is mine. I got it for a steal. FREE. I may have problems getting a title on it. The title is lost and the original owner is dead. I'll worry about that later.

The truck needs tires and shocks. It runs pretty good. i need to drain the gas tank and get some fresh gas in it. Overall the truck is in great shape.

Nice truck pays to be persistent. Take about 4 +months to go through hoops to get proof of death and have family sign off here in PA . Be worth it . Where is it going anyway.

The truck is here in Louisiana. I am waiting for the weather to clear up. as soon as it is legal I think that I am going to sell my 04 superduty. I'll still have the Excursion.
