Just got hired as a light mechanic (oil changes tire rotations, filters, fluids etc.) at a Ford dealership.
Can you recommend which size impact sockets I'll need for all the different Ford lug nuts out there?
Thank you. Just the location of the pipes would make it fairly easy to run a set of true duals, although I'm trying to get away as cheap as possible so I'll check Jegs and Summit. I never thought of them.
I have a 1994 5.0 shortbed. The resonator and cat back broke off the pipes coming from the manifolds. What is left is the 2 - 2inch pipes solidly coming out. The resonator broke off cleanly.
Do you guys know of any "Y" pipe to take the pipes and join them into 1? I've checked Autozone and...
yep it's a '93 wrangler. it had 33's on it when I got it and I swapped down to 31's on it because the 33's stuck out way past the feneder flares. Now I'm back on the 33 kick so I'll put the 31's on the truck.
OK polarbear, you got me sold! I currently have 31's on my Jeep, I will put the 33's on the Jeep and go with the 31's on the F150. I like the way yours looks. Thanks.
my truck is a shortbed single cab with a 302, auto, 3.55 gears. Currently have 235x75 BFGs on it. I do no offroading, and only drive a couple miles a day. Almost no highway miles.Power isn't an issue, only looks and rubbing. I love the looks of trucks with a lift and 33's. Unfortunately a...
my buddy is giving me the tires off his Jeep. I can't turn them down for free but I don't want to pay to have them mounted and then find out they won't fit. Thanks for the help.
My '94 F150 302 E4OD will drive ok but sometimes at highway speeds around 65 it will start to buck a little.... sort of like if I was letting off the gas and then quickly hitting it again. I don't know if this is the "shudder" that everyone talks about? But if it starts acting up and I switch...
hey Smokey, I started using the T&I enamel about 8 years ago when you could get a gallon for $19. I've painted at least 8 vehicles with it over the years, and the price has been shooting up !Then about a 2 years ago a buddy told me to try the "Restoration Series" enamel. I hated to spend...
Also, if you really want to go cheap pricewise you can buy the Tractor Supply Valspar Tractor and Implement paint. At my store it's 32 bucks a gallon, and the hardener I believe is 15bucks, and you can thin it with Naptha.I've painted the majority of my vehicles with this paint in the past...
I buy the Tractor Supply paint that is called "Restoration" It's an automotive grade enamel made by Valspar. You can buy the special thinner and hardener that is specific to this paint.I've used their tractor and implement enamel in the past also. It's cheaper pricewise and the quality...
