Ok the past week i was at autozone to get a shock for my truck. The guy ask me if it has a lift kit or not.. I said no its stock suspension. He said they came with a factory lift to. lol so i said it had the lift kit just to see the difference in that shock compaired to the one i took off my truck and its the same thing.. Even the one without the lift kit was the same part number... Anyone have an idea?

if he knew that the truck automatically came with a lift kit then why did he bother asking you?????Only thing I could see is if it had a plow setup it might but i don't know good luck....

I'll chalk that up to being just another idiotic AZ employee (no offense to any of the good ones out there). I have no clue to be honest, but I'd put money on the fact that he was referring to stiffer factory set up for plowing or something. Unless of course you have the uber rare highboy bronco, who knew they made them in the 90's too...hahahahaha.

There are times I swear our data entry people are smoking crack at work... some of the crap I see on those screens, I stand there and argue with the info on the screen... Kind of like there were no 400's available past 80... they went to 82. Sway bar links on a 91-95 Caravan... had bushings bolted straight to the lower control arm... so it is possible to be another one of our little headaches...
