Wiper Motor

it went out in the rain last week. I got a new on today from the junk yard, they had it on the shelf. I was wondering how hard is it to change one of these. the hayes book was a little vauge. Thanks guys jdk

you can get at everything from engine bay if lucky . But I have had to take cowl panel loose in past to get things loose.

Generally I have always had to take the cowl off as well. Kind of a PITA to do, but not horrible. It is bad enough I doubt I will put a used one in again...

Make sure you plug in the motor first to be d sure the motor is in the park partition before hooking up the wiper linkage.I did not do this once and had to do it over because the wiper parked half way up the windshield.

i got it changed out with little hassle. i did have to take the hook off to get the cowel lose, but no big deal. now im ready for the michigan winter lol. jdk
