That's how we roll!
Thanks for posting that info Bill.
Does anybody know of a place that repops the little plastic washer that protects the door panel?I found one in the junkyard, but have yet to find another.I need one to keep my window crank from rubbing on the woodgrain trim.Even though I have an 80,I don't think there's much of a difference.
Thanks for posting that info Bill.
I remember I got some from LMC the first couple of times I ordered handles from them. I can't remember if DC sent them along or not though. I dunno if you can just individually buy the washers from them though. But I'd imagine a trip to the hardware store could probably yield a suitable substitute.
Post #20: I listed 179 genuine Ford springs, and I coulda listed 100 more, either from dealers or obsolete parts vendors. The last MSRP was $1.84.I'm too lazy to look at my catalogs, and spoke before I checked the website. LMC lists them, as well as the spring, for 1.95 each. I looked up the Dentsides, and they have the springs and plastic spacers (listed as Escutcheons), for the same price.
For 1.95, I'll look towards DC or make my own springs. That price is a bit low for me to trust the quality.

There are 93 of these still available from dealers/obsolete parts vendors. I'll list the sources if interested.
No source in FL has either one, there are some of both in GA.

For some reason, I'm just finding out about a place called Obsolete Ford Truck Parts aka Classic Auto parts (they cater to more than just Fords) in Oklahoma. Anyway, just got their catalog in the mail yesterday, and as fate would have it, they had the washer and spring in there as well...I thin under $3 you could have the washer and spring. Ironically, as fate would have it, when I flopped open the pages, it opened up to door parts, low and behold, these were on the page.
