Have you ever pulled the rotors off? To see if the backing plates rotted and are rubbing on the insides of the rotor. I think u need to come see me, I am very good with sounds as they annoy me and I must not have any!
This was my 95 F350, I had to cut the backing plates off as they were no good and started to rub on the rotors.

Mike, you need a new mechanic. Something is wrong with your truck, and if all he`s got is "buy some spacers", that`s not good.

Buy/borrow/rent/steal a floor jack. Hell, use your stock jack. Get the front tires up in the air. Than grab the tire at the top and bottom and wiggle it. There should be zero movement. Top and bottom will show you bad wheel bearings and or ball joints, grabbing the wheel front and back is good for steering linkage.

You have a stock truck with stock wheels. It wont make any noise unless something is wrong. If Chinese/crap calipers were the cause they would have made them selves obvious right off the bat, not two years later.

I have not pulled the rotors off. I think you guys are right about getting a new mechanic. Even with my very limited experience, I thought something was loose because if I go over a bump, the noise will go away. However if I go over another bump, the noise comes back.
Interestingly enough he told me he back over the summer he thought it was the dust shields rubbing. So I had those replaced with some OEM ones I found online and that never fixed anything. I am starting to wonder if all of these "solutions" are being done on purpose.
I'll locate a jack and and get this thing up. Where is the safest place to do so? I have never jacked up my own vehicle.

Your owners manual will have jacking locations... Probably it'll be under the front axle, maybe at the shock mount.

As for safety, remember your jack stands!

Thanks again guys for all the help and happy new year! I am arranging to get my truck up on a lift come spring time. It will be a few months unfortunatley before the issue is solved, however I dont want to run my truck through all the wonderful New England salt trails. I aim to start driving it again once we get some good rain in April, following that I will report back. YelloThumbUp

Indeed, thankfully it won't be causing any damage while in storage. YelloThumbUp
