I found a good deal on a 351 set up for drag racing already which is cheaper than rebuilding my 390 will a zf bolt up with some conversion
I was thinking the pedal end, but that end also needs checked.
Just make sure its a Cleveland and not a tall deck 351M or 400.
Why wanting a manual for drag racing? It'll be slower than a properly built auto.
$20 says he'll be bracket racing. While the slush box makes it easier, a manual can be just as consistent...
I haven't known ZF's to be fast to shift. I have however, known the shifter to break off...
