What kind of oil shoud I use?

Any hydraulic flat tappet motors need the extra Zinc on break in so it dont eat the lifters. Far as I know valvoline racing oil is the only oil left that has enough zinc left in it to not have to run an addative. Mostly concerns freshly rebuilt motors or motors with new cam once the cams broke in and has a few thousand miles the zinc content dont matter.

Yeah machine shops will usually have that kind of stuff. Royal purple also makes some but it still dont work.

Last I heard the 50wt oils were exempt from the zinc and phosphorus
restriction...

...so Walmart took all of it off their shelves and at the same time took
all the chlorinated cleaners off too.

I got the oil changed today, the new oil valve thing leaked so I went back to the old style cap.
