I thought about pulling my rear bumper to pull some dents and paint/bedline it. Didn't happen...

Well, I drove it. And ghetto rigged my driver's side window to go up and down until I get the new regulator...

Otherwise, I did nothing. :D

Already got to jump the Bronco this morning after I stopped for breakfast. One of the exhaust manifold bolts to the exhaust pipe on the passenger side broke sometime between Wednesday and this morning. So I'm assuming the starter is heat soaked out the wazoo. Started right up at home, stopped for some grub, and she barely turned over...I guess we'll see at lunch after cooling a bit if she'll start up.

Ehh...it is what it is, but thanks for the sympathy. The way I see it...the engine is good for another 100k or so. So that leaves the tranny, which would be a grand worst case scenario. Freshen up the t-case to the tune of a couple hundred. And freshen up the axles. Then I should be as mechanically sound as it'll get. Who knows why that bolt broke (and I even noticed the change in exhaust tone last night, but I refused to acknowledge it)...but it's part of ownership of a 30+ year old rig. And I knew they mani's/doughnuts/bolts were in pretty sorry shape...and I went and disturbed them after 30 years of rust had set in...took them on a 700+ mile trip a few days later and flogged the hell outta the Bronco...so they were a weak point and it showed. Only thing I'm a little pissed about is probably looking at a new starter, and I gotta get across town to the bank and a notary over lunch...so I hope the starter doesn't get too hot/ Luckily, I'm carrying my hand dany jumper cables.

Dad went and got the truck inspected while I was at work and ran it on the highway for a bit and he said it was turnin 22-2300 rpm at 65 he thought it was off but he timed it and it was 57 seconds for a mile. Might not be too bad on gas after all. The cruise even works to my surprise. Might see if I can figure out whats wrong with the 85s cruise now.

Pulled it out of the woods today ('78 F150). Got someone coming to take the Ground Hawg II's. Looking it over, sitting hasn't been kind. :(
