Yup. You can do the 2 cycle in place of the fuel treatment. Should quiet her down some too.

holy old thread batman! Wanted to update, ended up needing a new starter this past spring, and a couple more fuel lines got replaced this fall.

Those starters can sneak up on you. I had one that got progressively slower, but I hadn't really noticed until it nearly wouldn't start. Changed it out, and what a difference...
