Oh gotcha...is that just a regular ol' run of the mill switch? If so...Dennis, can you give me the actual name of the switch so I don't sound like a jack ass when I go get it...'ummm yeah, I need that switch thingy that goes in the door jamb to turn on my dome light.' Oh...but if you have one or two or maybe even three D...add that to my list...I'm in no rush to get them.

Ben, just FYI, when you get ready to install that door jamb switch, be careful to not let the wire fall back down into the jamb when you take it off the old switch. It'll save you a couple minute job to ALOT more time consuming job.

One more question fellas...anybody have an extra set of FORD hood letters in good or better condition? Are they the same as the tailgate letters on a Bronco?

I don't use the letters, took 'em off my '75 while it was still under warranty.
Painted the grill inserts black too. The mistake I made there was not using
lacquer.

Seems like Bill said the letters were all the same?

I think I've seen the hood and bronco tailgate letters listed as different items in parts catalouges before--If that means anything.

They are listed differently, but I'm pretty sure they're the same. Maybe D or Bill could verify if they're exactly the same part number. But I'm pretty sure the mounting prongs are the same, thusly fit in either location.

The FORD letters on the Bronco tailgate was D5UZ-1140282-A,B,C,D respectively

were replaced by D9TZ-16606-A,B,C,D which are the same as the Hood

II have 5 sets of letters.
and extra F and and extra R
