Very close.....the problem is there is a reserve (hate that).....if this guy is asking a ridiculous amount, I wouldn't want to bother.

that is out now.

Ive never seen people using that gasket sealer on the exaust like
that though...

Must have been leaking many many times, and he gave up and just glued it

I usually spring for copper header gaskets when they won't quit leaking

1000%! But if they made them like they did back in the 70's, in order to pay the union labor, high priced CEO's, etc., they have to sell these things for $100k in order to profit!

Thought I would revive this thread, plus I'm waffling getting a F350 2WD to tow the camper. I found this one in SLC and was looking pretty close, but I'm kinda turned off, now. The truck is in very good shape, but it's being touted as something it is not.

I did ask him about some of the inconsistencies 3 days ago, but no response. The poor guy can't even do math - he says the truck is 43 years old......
