Transmission C 4 or C 6

I have a 73 F 100 with a 360 and an automatic - no ac. How do I tell if it's a C 4 or C 6 Trans? I need to do a filter change and replace a gasket. It leaks.

You can tell by the shape of the pan. The C4 has a square pan, and The C6 has a 6-sided pan(like the shape of the state of Utah). Also I think the only transmission that came in the truck with a 360 engine was a C6, if everything is still original.

Also, being attached to an FE motor, it will be a C6.
