understatement...if it is a true 350 that means it should have a d60 front axle...which should bring as much or more than you could pick the whole set up for.....not too mention posi tracion as stated rear ...how cool if trac loc front AND back..oh boy!

Damn...2 79 350 4x4 SC's. That one for $900 looks to have some potential and IMO is a steal at that price. Might be ugly, but I can't seem to find in that condition for less than 3000.

Pretty nice truck, red flag to me though is, why does it need all that new stuff, especially the transmission, if it only has 27k on the odometer. Nothing spectacular about it, having the paperwork is nice...but around here, that's a 3-4k truck these days. Had it been 5 years ago, it would have been a fair price at 5k, might have even been able to squeeze 6k out of it.


As for FTE, some are members over there, and I think at one point in time, all of us were members over there, but for one reason or another we migrated over here...typically because of a dispute or banning (they have a tendancy to go ban happy over there, and PM's aren't private). So welcome to FTF, we have quite a dentside following and a really relaxed atmosphere, so enjoy your stay and post often.

I'm going to look at this tomorrow. 351 auto, dealer air, original interior is blue (as was body, but painted white years ago) He sent me pictures of the interior and engine; really original with original Ford stickers still on Valve covers. Supposedly everything works really well except for AC. Tool box was converted into another gas tank area. No rust... We will see!

Went and saw this one for grins and giggles to see what $900 would buy. It buys a torn up truck full of rust through (even out here) that hasn't been registered and won't pass smog and has hundreds of dollars of back fees due.. But the 390 did at least start up and everything seemed to work,, though I didn't drive it.
