Yeah...looks to me like an extra 18" or so was welded in.

As for longer beds, you're referring to super camper specials...but I don't believe the beds were any longer, but the wheel base was stretched 7" to a 140" WB.

If it was a C/C it wouldn't have had a bed anyway...well maybe a utility bed, but that's a different story. I know back in the 50's...coulda been the 60's too that there was a 9' bed, but I'm pretty sure that's the last time the bed was longer than 8'.

So what makes it" British racing" truck

The color...it's British racing green.

Yeah I saw that you can see it in the trim too. I wouldnt touch that thing with a ten foot pole.

Agreed...makes me wonder how butchered everything else is to get that stretch. I like the idea though, so he can have a tool box and still a full bed, but I'd need waaaaaaay more quality. But the truck is what it is...but around here, he'd be lucky to get more than $500 for it.

Hed have to pay me to take that thing away. To streatch that out he had to stretch the bed, frame, driveshaft, brake lines, fuel lines, emergency brake cables, and the things still got to hold up that extra wieght of the frame not to mention the weak points in the frame where they welded the new pieces in. They also did it to a half ton thats got 38s on it, that things just a tickin time bomb.

Don't you guys see what that STRETCHED f150 actually was/is???
It is staring right at you...see the 150 w/ the leaf springs?? look closer.... + the extra for the supercab frame- delete the supercab body/cab + regular cab... and then + the stretch to the bed = pic shown! and in all actuality the frame is probably stronger than most being that it is taller by about an 1" ..I think that is what InfoFord said when he did that crew conversion
that truck has the hd44 up front, just need to swap out the outer for the 250 and add a d60 to the rear...kind of like I did to mine

Damn you guys...I really need to graduate and start makin money so I can keep up with you. Looks like a really good solid truck besides some minor cosmetics...How much did that one cost you? If it was less than $1500 I don't wanna know cuz that's what that 60 is worth alone.
