switching engines

I have a 94 f350 with a fuelinjected 460 with a spun rod bearing. I would like to put a 460 from a 85 e350 back in the truck. However it is carberated . will the intakes switch and work? or do I need to switch other parts to.

if I remember right the heads also need to be swapped. There are quite a few more knowledgeable BBF techs on here that will tell you all you need to know.

I do recall that to be true. I was trying to piece a well used one a while back, and it was of no use as it was injected, and all top pieces had to swap. Bottom ends are the same essentially..
