Strobe lights and the Law.

I have installed some strobe lights on my truck, but am not sure on the legality of them.

I have headlight and tail light strobes which i am certain are legal.

I also have some blue strobe lights, in my grill and back window, these are what i am concerend about.
They are only used on the construction site and the roads right by it... When i leave work they get turned off...

I am having trouble finding SUPPORTING information that says for sure that they are illegal or legal. I know impersonating an officer is illegal, but the blue lights are the only thing close to a cop car, and they are the only color im running... Not red and blue or anything like that.
ALot of the granite construciton trucks here in town have Blue and White, but i want to make sure i am with in the law on this, i dont want a felony impersonating an officer ticket... :wasntme:
Anybody got and links or anything...
Also i am in Texas... If ya didnt know.

I think blue and red is illegal in most places. Everyone here uses white and yellow as well. But like suggested asking a police officer is probably the best way to find out.

I am fairly certain running red and blue together is not legal.
But straight blue and the clear in the head and tail lights i dont see being illegal.

I would like some kind of writing somewhere if yall could find it that would be great, cause i sure cant...

I think any blue or red is illigal...

I'm surprised that clear isn't considering almost all the cars now have flashing tail/headlights and blue/red (I'm pretty sure I'v also seen just blue) :wasntme:

I don't think they would be to much of a issue aslong as they don't catch you with them on the street...

Well yeah...

Just your average joe blow cant drive up and down the road flashing strobes. I dont think they are legal to use them unless you have a good reason to have them on -volunteer fireman, road crew worker etc.

I dont think you'll get a ticket for having them on sitting in your back yard but isnt that a big waste of money?
