Heads and valves checked out perfectly fine, took them by a shop and they looked over them. Pistons or pieces never met them, i'm guessing as soon as the rod went the engine halted as soon as it hit the top, side and the final side resting point. I'll post close ups of the combustion chambers. I'm not gonna give up on the project, it'll just be a slow one now that it's nippy out!

That is very true. All the timing, heads, oil pump, water pump, intake, oil pan, oil pick ups a little screwed now, but there was a lot of good parts. Crank could be used but i think it may take part in muh table :). Depending on who's working tonight i might have someone help me carry in the engine and tear the rest of it apart :)

Phooy! real men aren't scared of the Weather :p

Says the guy who lives in Texas...try workin on your rig when it's below freezing and then see how much you like it. Then try it when there's ice all over the place, when it's 10*, your hand sticks to the tools and you have a 20mph wind. Then come back. HAHAHAHA

Hell...as is I haven't changed my temp SU just because it hasn't gotten warmer than 20* or is raining. Call me a wuss if you want, but it's not fun until the thermometer is at least 40*

Man, i wondered why i had low compression.......didn't know someone renovated the living area while they were at it.
020309_214700.jpg

Well, guess they had to cut corners somewhere installing the peephole....
020309_214701.jpg

020309_214702.jpg

Well, this was supposed to be the oppistie side peephole...
020309_214801.jpg

Man, they almost made it house shaped......if only they had carved some more....
020309_214800.jpg

Guess we know why now, their conrod peephole creating tool got broke off in the hole.....
020309_214802.jpg

Can anyone say shrapnal.....?
020309_214900.jpg

Oh....look, they left behind the sleeve cut out.
020309_215000.jpg

They tried a new rod design. They figured why not, we want a little muave one and not a straight one....
020309_215100.jpg

Man, that piston just didn't like it's new renovated sleeve all that much...and look, the rod put up a twisted fight!
020309_215101.jpg

Piston had a earthquake....kinda has a fault line now....
020309_215102.jpg

Eeeek, it destroyed the under surface more than the top.....damn earthquake...
020309_215103.jpg

Well, 2/3rds of the rod is here, a little bit of it's left in the block, and the rest will never ever be found.
