Sixlitre timing bump

I know that there are some old threads around on this but what i'm wondering is how many of you guys have tried it and are you still running your truck with the timing "bumped" - also just how effective is it long term ?

I have it done and wouldn't have it any other way....way more noticeable power and better fuel economy.

I did it and it wasn't a world of difference like everyone said so I bumped it back down.

I have a feeling my timing chain is pretty slack so I'd be interested in at least trying it.

Kiwi, do you have all of the other parts of the 6L tune up?

Just waiting for the msd coil cap and rotor which i ordered from northern auto parts then in 10 days i go home for my week off so hopefully get it done then.

I ran bumped got better MPG . But with ethanol Had to go back and lost 2 mpg .
