shifting lever play

Hey guys,..
Have a 1995 f-150 that has lots of play in shifting lever. Have to play with it to get it in gear. Getting pretty bad when N is drive now,
Any ideas,??

It's been a while now since this happened to the 96, but I believe there are two torx screws under the dash on the column that come loose.
