Well! My jokes are a little off too!!!Nah, you're ok Robert, there's a ton of stuff happening here at home right now and I just don't have a good come back for you...
could it still be the speaker connections if it happens at a stop too. it happened this morning, right after i started the truck - still putting my seat belt on and letting it warm up, then again like 6 times on my short drive to work (sometimes driving, sometimes stopped)I had a problem like that it was the speaker connections. They loosened up some how. I could bump the door with my hand and they would work for a little while!!!

My joke was implying that Tom was living in the past, and thus casette tapes only existed in his FUTURE. You didn't get itI believe it would be the "Past"!!!

Is it only happening to some of the speakers, or all of them? I had this happening to one speaker and it turned out to be a bad connection at the harness behind my stereo-- I pulled the stereo and reconnected the harnesses and it fixed it. But that was just ONE speaker. If it's happening to all your speakers then I'd suspect the stereo... Thought you could try unplugging the main 2 harnesses behind the stereo and plugging them back in, then test it for a few days.could it still be the speaker connections if it happens at a stop too. it happened this morning, right after i started the truck - still putting my seat belt on and letting it warm up, then again like 6 times on my short drive to work (sometimes driving, sometimes stopped)
Mine was driving me crazy with uneven sound until I noticed when I hit a bump sometimes it got louder, then I hit the door panel and it suddenly got better!could it still be the speaker connections if it happens at a stop too. it happened this morning, right after i started the truck - still putting my seat belt on and letting it warm up, then again like 6 times on my short drive to work (sometimes driving, sometimes stopped)

it doesn't seem to happen predictably at all. it hasn't really bothered me for the last few months, then today it happened like 6 times on the way to work, none on the way home. i'll have to pay more attention to see if it sounds like one or all. either way, if it's a nice day i still might just put the one from the 97 in. it looks *slightly* more updated and provides all the functionality i need (for free)Mine was driving me crazy with uneven sound until I noticed when I hit a bump sometimes it got louder, then I hit the door panel and it suddenly got better!
That's how I found the problem!!!
