Inspired by the thread in the F-150 forum...
Here's my '97 XLT in November of '05. It had about 215k miles on it then, and apart from the CB antenna, was still exactly how it was when I got it.
Here it is last spring sometime, and how it still looks now. I replaced the tonneau with an aluminum topper (though it comes off the summer), and rebuilt the trailer to increase cargo capacity. Somewhere around 225k miles in this pic.
And here she is mostly loaded down coming home from school last spring. The entire back end is packed neatly and tightly, the trailer is loaded full (but pretty light) and I hauled two friends 250 miles (and another 50 alone to get home) overnight, after taking a final and packing everything I owned on three hours sleep. It got dark before I got the trailer tarped, so this is the best pic I have.
I love this flippin' truck.
