Plugs and Wires

I just got a set of wires and some autolite sparkplugs.. going to attempt to do them this weekend..

is there anything i should know before attempting this?? and should i use anti sieze? cause the heads are cast iron anyways, not alum.

You don't need anti sieze on cast iron heads!!!

Plug wire routeing: Double check to see if this is the correct firing order for your truck!!!

About only issues is routing of wire as if they r wrong can cuase miss. Good luck

i gutta look at my firing order again.. i know mine is the newer one..

i leaned they changed it cause 7 and 8 were too close together and could blow out a cylinder.. learn sumtin new everyday! lol

94 and up got the HO firing order 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8. yours should be that.

yup....keep 7-8 wires from touching...they have a habit of crossing and causing misfire...
