Parking brake cables to short after 4 inch lift, now what?

I put a 4 inch rough country lift with rear springs, not blocks on my '79 f250 4x4 and the parking brake cables are to short now. Since I just redid the rear brakes I really don't want to take the axles and drums off again so has anyone just made a bolt on bracket and lowered the mounting holes down 4-ish inches? I don't currently have any of the body on or any other part of the parking brake setup except the two cables from the rear end so I can't just try a bracket to see if it'll work. thanks for any help.

I used a piece of 1" x 1" angle, and dropped the cable down. works fine, been on the truck like that for 23 years.

Perfect! Do you have any pictures of it? Are the cables 4 inches lower than the frame or did you just bolt the angle iron straight under the frame?
