I am new to this forum, just purchased myself a 76 Highboy.
Came with no engine and some steering components missing.
I plan on a full frame up rebuild. I am planning on dropping a 400 out of a 78 or 79 and mating it to an AOD early non electronic with help from an adapter plate. We shall see how it goes.

just finished aod rebuild,use a 89 or up aod has many improvements over 88 and older.
