Does the connector have 6 holes or 8 holes ?

What is the last 6 digits of the Vin#

The connector has 8 holes, last 6 of vin is J54604

as you can see the Cancelling cam is riveted on the switch so you don't need the extra one

There is, and as you are looking at the side of the assembly with the post the TS handle screws in it is on the right side right above this post.

Just the fact that the new one has that orange wire proves it.
