I'm gonna swap 4.10, gears from a mustang in my trucks rear axle and my 3.55 in the mustang is it a direct swap are the splines the same? Its a 1991 foxbody.

If I'm not mistaken the Mustangs use a 28 spline carrier.....If you'r JUST gonna do the gears minus the carrier, you'll be fine. That's a matter of bolting and unbolting and adding shims.

the swap was done friday i even tested on the track yesterday the gear is good
