Name of Four Door SUV from this era?

I've always disliked those Centurion vans... Look's like someone beat them with an ugly stick.
me too, but keep in mind that "hammer pants" were also cool at the time.

i can see where it sort of looks like a tractor trailer and people would find that neat.

Yeah...but if it's an E-350 with a dually rear axle swapped under it, it should pull about as well as an F-350 with the same powertrain. And I bet there's more room to sleep in the "back seat" of that, than the back seat of a CC, which might be handy on a long trip. (I've slept in the back of CC Fords...but I can't stretch out across the seat. :( )

Can someone post a photo? I have never seen one and am quite curious. :p

Or did you mean of Ian sleeping on the rear seat?

Whoa, that is quite... um... different. :p

No it's not...it's a F350 Crew Cab Cab & Chassis that someone mounted the dump bed on.

Did Ford Motor Company send this F350 out to have the dump bed added?

If the DSO code is 6 digits, it's possible.

Centurion began converting Bronco's into their version of a Surburban in 1978.

Centurion also took long wheelbase Econolines, cut off the rear half of the body where the 3rd/4th row seats were, added a short pickup bed.

I talk on occasion with talk to guy who knows the Original owner of cent factory on another site. This site is a 4 door only site and guy was doing Bio of Centurion. As he was told. Before 81 only the van conversions were done. But its good to know the 78-79 dentside r out there.
