But the F150 centurions arn't like the suburbans though because the F150 centurion has a bed an a cab as opposed to being an undivided area from the dash to the rear of the vehicle. The centurion bronco would be the only close thing to a suburban.

There's actually a forum dedicated to four door broncos-- I posted on it a few times a while back.

The address is, strangely enough, www.fourdoorbronco.com

Crap...trying to catch up on everything I missed...looks like you beat me to the website. I frequent that site, and it's awesome...I prefer the 79 conversions...but I'm bias.

That's a regular f-350
No it's not...it's a F350 Crew Cab Cab & Chassis that someone mounted the dump bed on.

Did Ford Motor Company send this F350 out to have the dump bed added?

If the DSO code is 6 digits, it's possible.

Centurion began converting Bronco's into their version of a Surburban in 1978.

Centurion also took long wheelbase Econolines, cut off the rear half of the body where the 3rd/4th row seats were, added a short pickup bed.

I think his point was that it was a Crew Cab from the factory-- not stretched by Centurion like mine was.

Yeah, but ask him anything regarding Ford and he'll have an answer for you...seems to be that way with just about anything you ask Bill though. Be careful though, if he gets your email address, you just might see the softer side, it's scary...haha.

It has nothing to do with me being a crabby old SOB, which I freely admit I am.

It has everything to do with using correct Ford terminology.

You'd be amazed on how clueless some people are...about the very trucks they own.

I can type 1000 posts about what is correct, and what ain't...but some people just don't get it.

My tolerance for being Mr. Nice Guy ran out years ago.

After waiting on clueless clucks, pinheads and beetle brained idiots at Ford parts counters for 35 + years, this is why I'm a crabbly old SOB today.

Hey what'd I ever do to you!?! smilietease
The last time I worked the parts counter (1997) you were a snot nosed kid.

Since you live near Baghdad by the Bay while I was working in LA LA Land, I doubt I ever saw you at any Ford parts counter.

So...this time...you're off the hook as far as being a clueless cluck, pinhead, and a beetle brained idiot.

Yeah...to me, it seems that there's a 50/50 split between diesels and gassers. JR, take a look at the link Chris posted, and you'll see a ton of them.

My gandpa had one of them econoline pickups. He said that it was gutless and that it would always spin out goin up the dirt road in middle canyon here. I also saw one on the freeway a few years ago and it was a dually. I dont know if he just swapped the dually axle in there or what but it was kinda cool to see.
