Hey All,
I just bought my first F series truck. My only other experience with a Ford truck was a '78 Courier I had back in the mid 80's.
I found an '89 F250 4X4 single cab on Craigslist that I plan to use for some car parts hauling and towing my car trailer to the dragstrip from time to time.
The F250 is a "Farm Truck" that hasn't been registered since 2007 and hasn't been driven around the farm much in the last several years (as evidenced by the mud dobber "wasp" nest covering the passenger seat belt
It ran and drove okay for the short drive to the DMV. The wipers, speedometer, temp gauge and left turn signal don't work and it has a noticeable exhaust leak near the engine...
Time to dig in and learn a little about Ford trucks!
