Moving my junk

So moving in to the new house, I finally got a chance to clean out one of the sheds and one of the trucks. There's a little bit of everything in this bunch...NOS 73-77 grille shell, NOS tailgate trim, NOS hubs, Indy/FreeWheeler truck dash trim, cruise systems, A/C systems, tilts, NOS steering wheels, NOS window cranks, NOS door handles, old set of 351m/400 Doug Thorley headers, bull bar, etc etc. The next shed I move will be body panels, hoods, tailgates and trim (some NOS, some OEM, some from DC). Then the last shed/truck to be moved will be the heavy stuff, engines, transmissions, axle parts...drivetrain parts in general and other miscellaneous items. I'm starting to think I should have bought a bigger house. I reckon I should start on the detached garage pretty soon.

T'was it not you who said to consider this a passion so it's justifiable???

But I think Bailee agrees with you...she started calculating what I spent on the parts, and what I could sell a lot of them for...and she was none to happy.

Well I guess that depends on how serious Bailee was on going all 'Lorena Bobbitt' on me if I don't get her a ring soon...because she surely wasn't amused with a piston ring.

My wife never had an engagement ring... Day of the wedding, she had never seen the actual rings, so she asked to see them. I had gotten a purple googley eyed ring in the ring box, the wedding ring was in my pocket... She wasn't overly amused either. Her dad was trying to get it back to let me give it to her on the altar...

Oh, my collection of parts would take quite a while to move, not all going to fit in one two stall garage... I think I could about fill my current pole shed and have a hard time doing much else if I brought it all here. Then the divorce may start....

I was the best man for my buddy, and did something similar at the rehearsal when they wanted the ring from me. Everybody laughed, but the bride. Alotta folks wanted me to do it at the actual wedding, but that's the bride's day, and she already thought I was an arrogant jackass (rightfully so)...so I passed.

Yeah...I have 2 more sheds and two more trucks to go through, should be two more loads, each about that size. I've sold off/scrapped a lot of my stuff the last 6 months, only stuff I really have left is NOS or tougher to find parts.
