1972 Ford F-250 V-8 360 (name is Lulu)
a couple days ago I had to replace the accelerator pump diaphragm, also the power valve cover gasket and base plate gasket. No more leaks now.
However Lulu now runs terrible no power and sounds like carb is loading up she runs, but rough. I checked the points, gaped, rotor etc. points are on when I go to turn her on she starts right now. But idle is rough and driving runs rough also. Here is my question, could changing out the acc pump and etc. cause the fuel mixture and or idle screw to need an adjustment. I know that it is an adjustment but I want some input. Thank you
