nope no difference... how much they set you back?
you shouldnt need a reducer..
Well, finally got a pair of headers, BBK shorty's
Just need to get gaskets and header bolts, and maybe a reducer?
Not sure if I need the reducer for shorty headers, they are suppose to be a direct replacement fit, but the collector flange is 2 1/4" and the spacing for the bolts is 4" on center. Have to check the factory. Also need to get one longer double threaded bolt for the dip stick bracket.

they came off a 1988 ford truck with a 351 Windsor, but not sure if there is a difference between my '83
Hi Chris, paid the guy $80 dollars. The mounting flange to hook up to the exhaust pipe seems to look wider than the stock flange? And the dome seems bigger too. Really hope that the factory flare in the exhaust pipe will work and the flanges will be the same. Need to go under the truck to check. Wish I kept my old cracked factory manifold so I could compare.
That is a great buy Roy.![]()
Looks good Roy. They fit nicely.
Drive around for a week like that, and you'll be disappointed when you hook it all up!My buddy ran open headers on his Chevelle all day long, and after a few days around it, I got used to the noise.
Just do the burn out at the entrance on the way out.![]()
