I have a 88 Ford F150 that I plan to lower. We all know how expensive lowering kits can be so I plan on doing mine using Junkyard parts.
Starting Next month I plan to get a set of front coil springs from a early 90's Ford ranger pick up. Now my camber is going to be way off so I plan to take it to a alignment shop and see what camber bushings I will need which I will get from Advance Auto Parts the only place I could find them.

For the rear I have 3/4 ton springs on the truck (yes it is a 1/2 ton) it was added before I bought it. Here I have 2 options.
1. I can remove leaf springs from the spring pack and use a 2 in drop shackles.
2. I can go get leaf springs from a 1/2 ton F150 and switch them out with the same 2 in drop shackles.
Out of this I will need to to make a mini flip kit. This is where I will have to find some help with welding.
I was told using Ranger coil springs may cause my front end seem wallowly
I have a 300 I6 EFI engine but will upgrade at a later date. so I am thinking about using Sway Bars from a F250-350 to help stabilize it.
