So did you do the top end for the oil pressure problem, or something else? Heads never have much to do with the oil pressure, that is always a bottom end thing. Cam bearings or worn mains too, bad/stuck pressure regulator in the pump, it is even possible the pickup screen could be gunked up and partially plugged, the pickup tube could be cracked also, making it harder to draw the oil. I doubt that is it, but it is one of the possibilities.

i replaced the top end because the camshaft was worn down and 2 pushrods were bent so i put in a new cam ,lifters ,pushrods and added a weiland stealth intake when i crank it i can see the oil coming to the top on each of the rockers

Were the blocks main bearings align bore professionally checked in the block ? Were the rods big and resized with new bolts ? Were the bearings professionally clearanced with a good dial bore gage ? Did the crank mic out ok ?

well i finally got time to run through the the motor some more and discovered that the previous owner had the carb running way too rich and that was my timing and vac issues he had 400 jets for the primarys and i couldnt read what the secondaries were but she is running a whole lot smoother now
