Login timeout

Is there a timer on this? If so is there any way to make it longer?

After typing up a response which took more than a few minutes to compose, I was prompted to login again when I attemped to post it. I didn't loose any of the post content when this happened, but it just seems a little unnecessary....

Umm...I have no issues. It sounds like a "cookie" problem. When you login are you hitting the remember me button?

I had some issues with that earlier as well.

Really? Cuz I'm always logged in until I either clear my cookies or logout..

you'll remain logged in if you have the 'remember me' option enabled. You will still time out, but your browser will automatically re-log you in. Next time when you're done cruising the boards, check the time stamp in the upper right corner, walk away for 20 minutes, then come back.
